LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The ACLU and Planned Parenthood have unveiled a legislative agenda for this fall as they seek to get lawmakers to make access to abortions easier for women.
They want to repeal the state law mandating someone wait 24 hours before terminating a pregnancy and repeal laws that limit insurance coverage of the procedure.
Right to Life of Michigan blasted their proposals. Voters approved a constitutional amendment establishing the right to an abortion in Michigan last November.
