(Reuters) – A broad area of low pressure located a few hundred miles west of the Cape Verde Islands has a 70% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next two days, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Friday.
A tropical depression is likely to form over the weekend while it moves toward the west-northwest or northwest across the eastern tropical Atlantic, the Miami-based forecaster said.
