Attacker Michael Mann and the Hope College men’s lacrosse team have earned the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s highest academic honors.
The Flying Dutchmen claimed the USILA’s Academic Team Award for the third consecutive season.
Teams who achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher were recognized.
Mann (Plymouth, Michigan / University of Detroit Jesuit) is a USILA Scholar All-American.
This spring, Mann scored a career-best 58 goals during his junior season for the Flying Dutchmen, who were MIAA Tournament champions and finished with a 13-6 overall record. Mann now has 150 career goals, the second-most all-time at Hope.
The public accounting and business double major earned honorable mention all-region honors from the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association and All-MIAA First Team distinction. Mann also made the College Sports College Academic All-District® men’s at-large teams selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Both USILA academic programs are presented by Blatant Lacrosse.
