My Precious Husband, David —
On June 14, 2023, you embraced your Savior. I imagine you stepping out on shore and finding it Heaven. Of touching a hand and finding it God’s. Of breathing clean air and finding it celestial. Of waking up in Glory and finding it Home!

But I miss you. The memories of our 45 years together comfort me in these hard days. You loved me so well. And you loved your sons: Bob Watson and his wife Terri, Chad Watson and his wife Christie. Each one was a story you would tell anyone who would listen because you were so proud of them. You loved Heidi and Matthew-hug him for me. And how you loved your Grandchildren: Alec (Allie), Elise, Andrew, Caleb, Brenna, Lily, and Dylan. And you so enjoyed your brother and sisters-in-law; Ethelanne and John TenPas, Paul and Janiece Swets, Marcia Buck, Faith and Ed Curtis (and her precious son, David), Mary and Don Teasley.
Can you believe I fell in love with you in your dental chair? You were such a kind and gentle dentist to all your patients in Florida. You strived for perfection in your work through a Mastership in further clinical education. Singing tenor in the choir at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale was one of your greatest joys. Music fed your soul and the great hymns and choral masterpieces were your gifts of worship to God.

And now you are with Him. I trust in the plans God had to bring you to Him. I trust in the belief that I will see you again – in His timing. Our love will continue to sustain me until then. Thank you for loving me. Always your wife, Karen.
