HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 17, 2023) – Holland’s annual signature event may be history for 2023, but one of the Tulip City’s annual features gets underway on Wednesday.
The 8th Street Farmers Market begins its seasonal run of every Wednesday and Saturday with over 75 local farmers, speciality food vendors and food trucks congregating at the 8th Street Marketplace just outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place. While early spring produce will be available, shoppers can also choose among floral products, baked goods and more.
One favorite that was shelved over the past three years due to COVID 19 health protocols has returned in Wednesday children’s activities starting in June, while a new monthly Summer Enrichment Series also begins then, and the Market will have a new line of merchandise items available. The Double Up Food Bucks program for Bridge Card and EBT card holders also returns.
The Holland Farmers Market runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM through November, and during those hours on Saturdays through December 23rd. More information is available here.
