HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 15, 2023) – Two women from Holland were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Holland’s North Side on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Eric DeBoer, deputies and other first responders were dispatched to the intersection of James Street and Butternut Drive shortly after 3:10 PM. That was where a northbound sedan, driven by a 41-year-old Allegan man, had stopped in the left turn lane and then attempted to turn left, but went instead into the path of a southbound sedan, driven by a 38-year-old woman with a 17-year-old passenger. The two women were taken to Holland Hospital for treatment of their injuries, the extent of which DeBoer did not disclose, while the other driver was not hurt.
