SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Those visiting the city of South Haven will have some new events to look forward to in the coming months.
The South Haven City council approved several new public events to start later this month during their Monday night meeting, March 6.
All special event permits unanimously passed before the council to include the permit for ‘Light Up the Lake’, the annual firework show that attracts tens-of-thousands visitors every July 3.
Included in the new events, according to the city council, an Easter Egg Hunt which is now scheduled for Sunday, March 26 at South Beach.
The council also approving dates and permits for “Harborfest” in 2023, The “Icebreaker Festival” in 2023 and 2024, a “National Day of Prayer,” along with a “Salute to Veterans” event.
