BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Commission is asking its employees to remove the Chinese short video-sharing app TikTok from their corporate phones, EU industry chief Thierry Breton said on Thursday.
Breton told a news conference that the EU executive is very focused on cybersecurity, declining to provide further details on whether there were any incidents involving TikTok.
Euractiv first reported on the Commission decision.
