HOLLAND, GRAND RAPIDS MI (WHTC AM/FM) – It may not be the most well-known rivalry in college sports, but Hope/Calvin is as fierce as any other…and now, a documentary is being filmed about the matchup.
“The Rivalries” is a series that appears on LG Smart TVs, and it has been in the area filming at both campuses.
The rivalry goes back over 100 years, and while it may not get the press that a Michigan-Ohio St or Alabama-Auburn gets…it’s no less intense.
The program is slated to be broadcast in March.
Oh…by the way…the latest edition of the rivalry went to Hope on Wednesday, as the Flying Dutchmen claimed a 65-57 win over the Knights @ Calvin.
