SAN FRANCISCO, CA (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons are in San Francisco to square off with the defending champion Golden State Warriors tonight.
Detroit is 1-and-2 on its current five-game road trip following Monday’s loss in Portland. The Pistons sit at 10-and-30 overall.
The Pistons are losing a member of their frontcourt. ESPN reports forward Marvin Bagley III is expected to miss extended time after suffering a right hand injury. Bagley was injured in Monday’s loss to the Trail Blazers.
The 23-year-old is averaging 10.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in his first full season with Detroit.
