ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan will play for a national championship again this year.
The College Football Playoff semifinals are set after the final rankings of the season were released Sunday. The University of Georgia is still number-one followed by the University of Michigan, TCU, and Ohio State University.
Georgia will take on Ohio State in the semifinals, while Michigan meets TCU, with both games December 31. The winners will play for the national championship.
Eastern Michigan University will face San Jose State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise December 20, while New Mexico State battles Bowling Green in the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field December 26.
