PONTIAC, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Passengers using Amtrak’s Wolverine Train 351 from Pontiac to Chicago were delayed for hours this morning in Pontiac
The problem was unclear as officials first listed the problem as “operator unavailability” but then two hours later issued a second notice saying it was mechanical issues causing the delay.
Shortly after 7:00 a.m. the company then said the train was delayed to due a trespasser incident involving another train. Passengers finally got going around 8:15 a.m. more than two hours behind schedule.
According to Amtrak, major stops for the train include Detroit, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, and Chicago.
