ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan nearly pulled off the upset but fell just short in a 70-68 loss to third-ranked Virginia in Ann Arbor. Hunter Dickinson dropped in 23 points to pace the Wolverines, who slipped to 5-and-2 on the season. UM now heads to London, England to clash with 18th-ranked Kentucky on Sunday.
In other college basketball action, Central Michigan beat Purdue Northwest 74-67. Tonight, 20th-ranked Michigan State visits Notre Dame, Eastern Michigan is at Florida International, and Western Michigan visits Dayton.
