EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan State University men’s basketball team rose 10 spots to number-15 in the latest Coaches Poll.
The Spartans are 3-and-1 and earned big wins over Kentucky and Villanova last week.
Their tough early season schedule continues this week at the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland. The Spartans are set for a first-round matchup against number-18 Alabama to kick things off Thursday night.
The University of Michigan tumbled from their number-21 spot out of the top 25 following a big loss to Arizona State last week. Michigan returns to the hardwood tomorrow night when they host Jackson State.
