BROOKLYN, NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan’s undefeated start to the men’s basketball season is over.
The 21st-ranked Wolverines were upset by Arizona State 87-62 in the championship of the Legends Classic in Brooklyn Thursday.
U of M is now 3-and-1 on the season. The Wolverines return home to host Ohio University Sunday.
(Undated) — In other local college basketball action, 25th-ranked Michigan State hosts Villanova tonight. Central Michigan lost 68-60 at Minnesota, while Western Michigan visits Houston Christian tonight. Detroit Mercy is back on the hardwood tomorrow visiting FAU.
