BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A West Michigan drug and alcohol treatment organization is set to open up the largest commercial facility in the area.
Landmark Recovery will cut the ribbon on the Landmark Recovery of Western Michigan facility at 393 East Roosevelt Avenue in Battle Creek on Monday, October 17 at 3 p.m.
The building contains 60 beds, and can handle over 700 patients yearly.
Officials for Landmark say that the new building will provide 60 full- and part-time jobs.
CEO for Landmark Recovery, Matt Boyle said that “our goal in opening this facility is to help save lives and make addiction treatment more accessible to those who need it.”
Landmark Recovery of Western Michigan will offer personalized programs, with twice the national average of individual therapy sessions per week and counseling that addresses the root causes of addiction.

According to the CDC, more than 2,700 lives in Michigan were claimed by drug overdose in 2020.
