LAWRENCE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The last “Recycle Roundup” for 2022 in Van Buren County is set for this weekend, Saturday, October 15.
The Van Buren Conservation District will hold the roundup from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Van Buren County ISD Building in Lawrence.
They will be collecting household hazardous waste, paper for confidential shredding, electronics, paint, styrofoam, and passenger and semi tires.
The effort is free to all Van Buren County residents, and businesses are not permitted to bring items.
Pre-registration is required for tire recycling, and a limit of 10 tires is in effect. Go to the website https://vanburencd.org/2022-van-buren-county-recycling-collections/ to register.
Residents are reminded to bring an ID or a tax bill with a correct address with them to prove eligibility.
