ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Alabama is the number one team in the nation according to the latest College Football Coaches Poll.
The Crimson Tide rose one spot in the rankings to take the top spot from the University of Georgia. The Bulldogs are now second in the country.
Ohio State University, University of Michigan, and Clemson once again round out the rest of the top five.
In college football action Saturday, Michigan won 27-14 at Iowa while Michigan State fell 27-13 at Maryland.
In the MAC, Western Michigan beat New Hampshire 44-7, Central Michigan lost at Toledo 38-17 and Eastern Michigan defeated UMASS 20-13.
