ROCHESTER HILLS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Tigers broadcaster Kirk Gibson rallied more than 200 golfers at Wyndgate Country Club in Rochester Hills this week to raise money for his foundation to battle Parkinson’s disease.
It was the sixth year for the event and featured baseball Hall of Famer Alan Trammell, Michigan State University basketball coach Tom Izzo, comedian Larry the Cable Guy and Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski.
Over the first five years of the foundation, it has raised over $1 million for Parkinson’s research.
