KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Western Michigan University hockey captain Paul Washe has pled guilty to seduction after being charged with criminal sexual conduct with force or coercion.
Washe was accused by an 18-year-old woman of sexual assault at a December 5, 2021 party.
He faces up to five years in prison, but the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office says it will not object to him being sentenced to less than two years of probation under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act. That would also allow Washe to have the crime removed from his criminal record if he successfully completes probation.
