MATTAWAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Republican Gubernatorial Primary in Michigan has officially been called, with Tudor Dixon winning the nomination to take on Gretchen Whitmer this November.
“As I have stated from the beginning, Republicans throughout the state must be focused on retiring Gretchen Whitmer,” said Soldano. “I will be casting my vote for Tudor Dixon in November. I call on all Republicans to continue fighting, and together we will defeat Gretchen Whitmer in November.”
Soldano announced his campaign for Governor in April of 2021.
Since then, he had emerged as a front-running candidate in this year’s Republican gubernatorial primary.
