HOLLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital on Friday, July 29.
Authorities say it happened around 7:39 a.m. on US-31 at New Holland Street north of the city of Holland.
Investigation revealed that a driver of a 2015 VW Passat was making the Michigan turn to go northbound on US-31 at New Holland Street when they collided with a northbound 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer they did not see. The collision caused both drivers to end up in the field on the east side of US-31.
Both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Passat was cited for failing to yield to the right of way.
