KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Those needing rent assistance through a federal program created during the pandemic don’t have much time to take advantage.
The federal COVID Emergency Relief Act provided for assistance to help renters pay their rent due to hardship created by the pandemic.
Officials say that the Act will expire on Thursday, June 30, so anyone wishing to utilize it should apply quickly.

Van Buren County residents should call 269 925-9077, then 876 or 878.
