DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Tigers legend Willie Horton will be an honorary coach for the American League at the 2022 All-Star Game.
Houston Astros and American League manager Dusty Baker asked Horton to serve as honorary coach at Dodger Stadium July 19.
In a statement, Horton says it will be one of his “greatest honors to stand alongside one of the best baseball men I know, Mr. Dusty Baker, as an honorary coach.” He adds some of his best memories are from his four All-Star appearances.
