MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO AM/FM) – Jeimer Candelario hit a two-run homer in the top of the 10th inning as the Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 4-2 in Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon.
Candelario helped Detroit take the lead in extra in,nings while Harold Castro launched a pair of solo shots in the victory.
Alex Lange picked up the win in relief and Andrew Chafin notched his first save for the Tigers, who improved to 15-and-28.
Trevor Larnach hit a two-run home run for Minnesota, which dropped to 27-and-17. Trevor Megill suffered the loss after giving up the game-winning hit.
