DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Andrew Vaughn drove in four runs as the White Sox crushed the Tigers 10-1 in Detroit.
Vaughn tallied two hits, including a three-run homer in the seventh inning.
Chicago also benefited from the return of Tim Anderson, who was suspended for the first two games of the season, and went 3-for-5 at the plate. Kyle Crick picked up his first win after tossing a scoreless inning in relief.
Tarik Skubal was tagged with his first loss after allowing five runs over four frames. Victor Reyes drove in Detroit’s lone run with an RBI triple.
The White Sox improved to 2-and-1, while the Tigers drop to 1-and-2. The Tigers host the Red Sox early this evening.
