DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers made a handful of roster moves yesterday to reach the 28-man limit.
Detroit optioned infielder Willi Castro to Triple-A Toledo.
The team also assigned pitcher Wily Peralta to Single-A Lakeland after he arrived in camp earlier this week.
The Tigers open the regular season at Comerica Park tomorrow afternoon against the Chicago White Sox.
