LAKELAND, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers and starting pitcher Spencer Turnbull agreed to terms on a new contract and have avoided arbitration.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the deal is for two years and is worth $3.65 million.
Turnbull threw a no-hitter against the Seattle Mariners last May but his season ended with Tommy John surgery in late July. He continues to recover and is not expected to play in 2022.
