LAKELAND, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – Detroit Tigers pitcher Wily Peralta has arrived in Lakeland, Florida after dealing with visa issues.
He had been working out at a facility near his home in the Dominican Republic while waiting to join his teammates in Tiger Town.
Peralta signed a minor-league deal with Detroit before Spring Training and will remain in Lakeland to get ready for the season when the team heads north.
