Avery L. Bakker, age 3, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Avery was born September 30, 2018, in Zeeland, MI. Avery loved to be on the farm, the cows, playing with tractors and trains, and helping his grandparents to fix things any chance he could. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jerry Bakker.

Avery is survived by his parents, Rick Mansfield and Ashley VanHaitsma; siblings Dylan, Jayden and Quinn VanHaitsma, and Abby Mansfield; grandparents Ike (Suzanne) Ykema, Mike (Becky) Bakker and Millie Bakker; great grandparents Brent (Pat) Bouwman and Joanne Morgan; Special aunt Candy; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Avery’s life will be 4:00 pm, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland.

Visitation will be from 2-4:00 pm on Thursday at Lakeshore Memorial.
