INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – Eight-seed University of Michigan opens play in the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament against nine-seed Indiana today.
The Wolverines ended the regular season at 17-and-13 overall and 11-and-9 in the conference while the Hoosiers finished with a mark of 18-and-12 overall and 9-and-11 in the Big Ten.
The winner will advance to tip off against number-one seed Illinois tomorrow.
Seven-seed Michigan State University begins its run in the Big Ten tournament against ten-seed Maryland tonight.
The Spartans are 20-and-11 overall and 11-and-9 in conference play, while the Terrapins enter action at 15-and-16 overall and 7-and-13 in the Big Ten.
Tonight’s winner moves on to play two-seed Wisconsin tomorrow.
