INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Illinois tied with the University of Wisconsin for the Big Ten regular season men’s basketball title after the Illini beat Iowa 74-72 in Champaign and Wisconsin lost to Nebraska 74-73 Sunday.
Illinois will be the top seed for the Big 10 Tournament.
Both Michigan and Michigan State will play Thursday. The eighth-seeded Wolverines will face Indiana at 11:30 a.m. The seventh-seeded Spartans take on Maryland at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
