LAKELAND, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers will not take the field anytime soon after Major League Baseball extended the lockout and canceled the first two series of the season.
The MLB and the players union failed to reach a new collective bargaining agreement by yesterday’s 5:00 p.m. deadline.
Without a new CBA in place, the start of Spring Training has been pushed back to at least March 12 and the regular season will not begin before April 7.
