LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The wife of former Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield is defending him against allegations by their sister-in-law that he sexually abused her.
Stephanie Chatfield admits her husband has had multiple affairs but in a statement says all were consensual. Rebekah Chatfield says Lee began abusing her when she was 15, and he says through an attorney their affair didn’t start until she was 18.
Stephanie Chatfield says her sister-in-law needs psychological counseling and accused her of trying to “become a millionaire.”
