STATE COLLEGE, PA (WKZO AM/FM) – Number 19 Michigan State University let a 14 point second-half lead slip away in a 62-58 loss at Penn State in men’s college basketball last night. Julius Marble the second led the Spartans with 14 points.
MSU falls to 18-and-7 overall and 9-and-5 in Big Ten Play. Michigan State next hosts number 12 Illinois on Saturday.
The Spartan men’s and women’s basketball will play in the 2022 Phil Knight Invitational. The tournament will be held in Portland, Oregon over Thanksgiving weekend.
Other teams scheduled to take part in the event include Alabama, Iowa State, North Carolina, UConn and Villanova.
