ZHANGJIAKOU, China (Reuters) – Germany’s Denise Herrmann was poised to win the gold medal in the women’s 15km pursuit race at the Beijing Olympics on Monday, with the rest of the field too far behind to catch her.
Anais Chevalier-Bouchet of France was in position to take the silver medal and Norway’s Marte Oldsbu Roieseland the bronze.
