James Postma, age 69, of Holland, entered his heavenly home on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Jim was born on March 24, 1952, in Zeeland, to Ivan and Johanna Postma. He was a graduate of Holland High School and worked for many years at Great Lakes Woods in Holland. He was a member of Rose Park Baptist Church.
Jim was a beloved husband and father who will be missed by all those who survive, including his wife, Ethel Mae Postma; children: Ivan Postma, Nancy Postma, Lisa Lopez, and Peggy VanSlooten; siblings: Barb (Tim) Calvo, Roger Postma, Pat (Earl) Moore; grandchildren: Anthony Postma, Desaray Norwood, Damion Norwood, Noah Postma; stepchildren: Bill Pelcher, Debra Crum, Ronda Busscher, and Greg Thrasher; sister-in-law, Marie Hunter; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by siblings: Ivan Postma, Betty Olin, and Mary Postma.
No public services are planned. Memorial Contributions may be given to Rose Park Baptist Church 600 Butternut Dr. Holland, MI 49424.
