DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons dropped their fourth straight game with a 94-85 loss to the New York Knicks last night.
New York outscored the Pistons 30-14 in the final quarter as the Pistons record dropped to 5-28. Saddiq Bey had 32 points to lead a depleted Detroit squad. Hamidou Diallo scored 31 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds in the loss.
Alec Burks led all scorers with 34 points off the bench for New York. The Pistons have eight players in COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Frank Jackson injured his ankle in the second quarter and did not return to the game.
Detroit hosts the San Antonio Spurs in a New Year’s Day matchup Saturday.
