NEW YORK, NY (WKZO AM/FM) – The Knicks defended home court with their sixth win of the year at Madison Square Garden as they topped the Detroit Pistons 105-91 Tuesday night.
Evan Fournier led all scorers with 22 points. Julius Randle and Kemba Walker each chipped in with 21 points. Randle also collected 11 rebounds for the double-double.
Saben Lee led the Pistons in scoring with 16 points off the bench.
Detroit has now dropped 15 of its last 16 games. The Knicks have won two of their last three.
The Pistons visit the Miami Heat tomorrow night.
The NBA isn’t planning to pause its season, despite a number of teams dealing with COVID-19 outbreaks. Commissioner Adam Silver told ESPN that the league has “No plans right now to pause the season”. He added that the NBA will continue playing, despite the league postponing seven games in the past week.
The NBA did announce new rules for replacing players, giving teams flexibility to add new players for those stuck in the health and safety protocols.
