WEST PALM BEACH, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State University women’s basketball fell to Florida Gulf Coast 85-84 in double overtime yesterday, despite a historic effort by senior Nia Clouden.
Clouden set a new program record by scoring 50 points for the Spartans. She is the third women’s player in Big Ten history to score at least 50 points in a game.
Clouden has also tied MSU men’s basketball’s Terry Furlow who also hit the 50 point mark in 1976.
