McKINNEY, TX (WKZO AM/FM) -The Ferris State University Bulldogs are the NCAA Division Two national football champions for the first time in school history.
FSU beat Valdosta State Saturday in McKinney, Texas by a 58-17 margin after trailing 17-13 late in the first quarter. The Bulldogs ran for 459 yards and scored 45 unanswered points.
Valdosta State had beaten Ferris State in the 2018 title game.
