EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan State University men’s team has jumped up eight spots to number 12 in this week’s Coaches Basketball Poll.
The Spartans improved to 9-and-2 overall and 2-and-0 in the Big Ten with wins over Minnesota and Penn State.
Baylor is the new number-one team in the poll. The Bears jumped to the top spot in the rankings this week after moving to 9-and-0 on the season. Duke is up to second, followed by UCLA. Purdue slipped from first to a tie with Gonzaga for fourth.
Arizona is now sixth with Kansas, Alabama, USC, and Villanova rounding out the top-10.
