HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A crash between a semi-tractor trailer and car seriously injured a 29-year-old Holland man Tuesday evening, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
He indicated the crash happened when the 65-year-old Kentwood man driving a 2014 Freightliner north on US 31 ran a red light at Felch Street. The semi hit a Cadillac, that had been headed east on Felch, with the Holland man at the wheel.
An AMR Ambulance crew rushed the Holland man to Holland Hospital for treatment. Holland Township firefighters assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
