EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Michigan State University men’s team moved up two spaces to number 20 in this week’s Coaches Basketball Poll.
MSU is 7-and-2 overall after wins over Louisville and Toledo.
The University of Michigan fell out of the top 25 this week. U of M lost to North Carolina and beat San Diego State last week to go 5-and-3 on the year.
The Purdue Boilermakers are the new number-one team in the poll. It’s the first time ever the Boilermakers reached the top spot in the roughly three decades that the USA Today has administered the Coaches Poll.
Baylor is up two spots to second, while previous number-one Duke dropped to third. UCLA is now fourth and Gonzaga fifth.
