ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The University of Michigan will square off against Georgia in the College Football Playoff national semifinals on New Year’s Eve.
The Wolverines locked up the number-two seed in the final CFP Rankings after blasting Iowa 42-3 in the Big Ten Championship Game Saturday.
Michigan and Georgia will play in the Orange Bowl in Miami.
Top-ranked Alabama will clash with fourth-ranked Cincinnati in the other CFP semifinal. The winners will then meet in the title game January 10, 2022.
