DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers have reportedly signed shortstop Javier Baez.
According to the Detroit News, the deal is for six-years and worth $140 million.
The 29-year-old is a two-time All Star, a 2020 Gold Glove winner and was a member of the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series championship team.
Baez had 31 home runs and 87 RBI for the Cubs and the New York Mets in 2021.
