BOSTON, MA (WKZO AM/FM) – Marc Staal’s third period goal was the difference for Detroit as the Red Wings took down the Bruins 2-1 in Boston Tuesday night.
With the score tied 1-1, Staal scored on a rebound with 8:27 left in the third period to give Detroit the lead. Filip Zadina scored in the second period and Alex Nedeljkovic made 41 saves for the Red Wings.
Detroit improved to 11-9-and-3 as they won their third straight.
The Red Wings host the Seattle Kraken tonight.
