DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Pistons close out a five-game homestand as the Miami Heat visits Little Caesars Arena tonight.
Detroit dropped to 4-and-12 after a 121-116 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday.
Miami enters action with an 11-and-6 record.
The NBA has handed out its punishment to the Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart and the Lakers’ LeBron James for their actions during an altercation in Sunday’s game. Stewart has been suspended two games and James one game.
Both players were ejected in the third quarter after James hit Stewart above the right eye, opening a cut. Stewart then made several attempts to charge James. He will be eligible to return to Detroit’s lineup against the Clippers Friday.
James was suspended for the first time in his 19-year career.
