WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States and Turkey have agreed terms for withdrawal of Turkey’s digital services tax and a transition to a new global taxation agreement in 2023 for large, highly profitable companies, the U.S. Treasury said on Monday.
The agreement will allow for the termination of U.S. retaliatory trade measures imposed against Turkey and will take place on the same terms agreed by Washington in October with Austria, Britain, France, Germany and Italy, the Treasury said.
