ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – In college football, the University of Michigan and Michigan State University are heading in opposite directions.
The Wolverines smashed Maryland Saturday to move to 10-and-1 on the season. They climbed to sixth in this week’s Coaches Poll and Associated Press Poll, and will likely jump up in the College Football Playoff Rankings tomorrow.
The Spartans were routed by Ohio State 56-7 and dropped to 13th in the Coaches Poll and 12th in the Associated Press Poll.
U of M hosts Ohio State Saturday, while MSU hosts Penn State.
